We are hiring an ERP Implementation Specialist – Finance & Project coordination to join our Project Management strongly growing team in Barcelona.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a strategic project at Forvis Mazars and to work in an English-speaking and truly international environment with a high number of countries across Europe.
Your Role:
1. Lead ERP SAGE X3 Implementations:
Plan, coordinate, and execute ERP system implementations, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, user training, and post-implementation support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Operations, etc.) to ensure ERP solutions align with business needs. Serve as the primary liaison between software vendors and internal stakeholders. Design and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop and implement methodologies and best practices for project management within the PMO. Identify project risks and create mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes. Conduct post-implementation reviews to document lessons learned and apply insights to future projects. Oversee and coordinate organizational change management related to ERP implementations and associated initiatives. Train and support end-users to ensure optimal adoption and efficient system utilization.
2. Coordinate and Support Internal Projects for the CoE:
Lead tools implementation and operational efficiency projects to enhance business processes. Provide operational and technical support across various initiatives. Offer expertise on finance, accounting, and operational workflows, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Analyse client requirements and work with teams to configure tailored solutions. Document business solutions, including functional designs, workflows, and data migration plans. Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing post-implementation support. Organize and participate in regular client meetings to review progress, address challenges, and plan actions. Develop systems, methodologies, processes, and tools in collaboration with teams, ensuring alignment with the unique needs of each business line.
Your Profile:
1. Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field (project management certifications are a strong plus).
2. Technical Expertise:
High proficiency in Excel (advanced user level). Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Sage X3, and their configuration or implementation. Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, and reporting processes.
3. Communication Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills in English (B2 level or higher), with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
4. Project Management:
Proven ability to prioritize workloads, adhere to strict reporting deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Experience:
Preferred: Previous experience in an international environment or working with global teams. Required: Solid knowledge of accounting or auditing standards and regulations, with a focus on financial workflows. Preferred: Experience in coordinating ERP, accounting, or outsourcing projects.
6. Teamwork and Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams. Capable of leading training sessions and supporting end-users post-implementation.
7. Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
8. Financial Orientation:
Demonstrated experience or focus on financial management, reporting, and analysis. Ability to align ERP implementations with financial strategies and organizational objectives.
