BESS Sales Manager - Renewable Energy Sector

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented BESS Sales Manager to join our team within the renewable energy sector. This role focuses on accelerating revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting innovative renewable energy solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a proven sales track record, and deep knowledge of the renewable energy market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets and drive market expansion within the renewable energy sector.
Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and lead generation initiatives.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with clients by understanding their needs and delivering customized energy solutions.
Market Insight: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and operations to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and enhance customer satisfaction.
Sales Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and present tailored proposals, sales pitches, and contracts, clearly outlining the value of our renewable energy solutions.
Performance Monitoring: Track sales metrics, analyze data, and produce regular reports to evaluate performance against targets and recommend improvement strategies.
Market Intelligence & Forecasting: Provide senior management with accurate sales forecasts, budget recommendations, and industry insights to support strategic decision-making.
Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed about local and global renewable energy policies, regulations, and incentive programs to optimize sales strategies and leverage business opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated success in sales roles within the renewable energy sector, particularly in developing new pipelines from inception.
In-depth understanding of renewable energy solutions, including battery energy storage systems (BESS) and other utility-scale technologies.
Experience in project finance or managing financial close transactions is highly desirable.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster long-term client relationships.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies for optimal performance.
Knowledge of industry regulations, incentive programs, and market trends in renewable energy.
