We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented M&A Strategy Manager to play a pivotal role in both managing M&A activities and driving the company’s corporate strategy. This position will combine strategic planning, M&A execution, and business development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both strategic business development and corporate transactions, with the ability to support the company’s long-term growth through both acquisitions and strategic initiatives.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES :
* Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement the company’s long-term corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with market opportunities and business goals.
* Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitor assessments, and identify growth opportunities that will shape the company’s strategic direction.
* Lead strategic initiatives to optimize operational performance, enhance market position, and drive profitability.
M&A Strategy and Execution :
* Identify, evaluate, and manage M&A opportunities, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships that align with strategic business objectives.
* Lead the M&A process end-to-end, including financial modeling, due diligence, negotiations, and deal execution.
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including finance, legal, and external advisors, to ensure successful transaction outcomes.
Integration and Post-Merger Strategy :
* Develop and implement post-merger integration plans to ensure smooth transitions and maximize synergies.
* Monitor and report on the performance of acquired entities to ensure the strategic and financial objectives are met.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
* Partner with key internal teams (legal, finance, operations) to ensure alignment between M&A and strategy efforts and to facilitate the execution of business strategies.
* Provide strategic guidance and support to business units on corporate initiatives and expansion efforts.
Business Intelligence & Reporting :
* Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
* Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership and stakeholders on strategic initiatives and M&A activities.
Stakeholder Engagement :
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and advisors.
* Ensure transparent communication throughout the strategic and M&A processes.
WHAT YOU NEED :
* Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
* Experience : 5-7 years of experience in M&A, corporate strategy, or business development, with a proven track record of successfully managing M&A transactions and developing strategic initiatives.
* Experience in a multinational corporate environment, ideally in a complex, industrial, or manufacturing setting.
* Skills : Strong financial analysis and modeling skills (DCF, LBO, Comparable Companies, Precedent Transactions).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
* Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights for senior management.
* Fluency in both Spanish and English (additional languages are a plus).
* Attributes : Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects.
* High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and execute under pressure.
