Your role
We are looking for a VP of Finance to join our team. You will lead the finance team, monitor the company’s financial performance, and implement plans to ensure long-term profitability and growth.
The VP of Finance is responsible for defining the overall financial strategy, managing investor relations, optimizing long-term profitability, and leading the entire finance team.
Your Journey
* Provide financial analysis and regular reports to the CEO, Board of Directors, and stakeholders.
* Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability.
* Align financial objectives with overall business strategy in collaboration with the executive team.
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
* Identify and implement process improvements for financial reporting and forecasting accuracy.
* Oversee cash flow management, including forecasting and liquidity planning.
* Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.
* Develop and enforce policies for financial compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee internal controls and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
* Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and credit risks.
* Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering continuous improvement and professional development.
* Support operational decision-making with financial insights and analysis.
* Optimize cost structures and improve financial performance across departments.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for investors and analysts, ensuring transparent communication.
What do we need you to bring on this trip?
* Education: Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economy, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum 5 years in Finance operations management or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance.
* Languages: Fluency in English & Spanish (other languages a plus).
