Job Overview:
Marlink Group is seeking a dynamic Product Lead to lead the strategy, development, and management of our Portals & Digital Interfaces. The role will be fundamental in driving the execution and growth of Marlink’s digital interfaces, focusing on the customer-facing portals.
The successful candidate will hold critical responsibilities that ensure the successful development, management, and improvement of the Portals. The role requires a combination of technology expertise, software development, and business acumen – as well as fundamental UX and design basics. The candidate will treat the portals as a commercial product that can drive business and reduce support duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Portals strategic direction & roadmaps:
o Define and implement a unified mid & long-term strategy for Marlink’s portals, aligning with the broader organizational goals and vision.
o Take ownership of the portal roadmaps and be accountable for ensuring the delivery and functionality of the portals.
o Ensure the portal strategy supports Marlink’s business objectives, enhancing both user experience and operational efficiency.
o Lead market analysis to identify key trends, competitor benchmarks, and opportunities for innovation in portal functionalities.
o Drive the adoption of the strategy across all the Business Units of the Marlink group.
* Portals Development & Management Coordination:
o Oversee end-to-end portal development lifecycle: from concept and design to deployment and post-launch management.
o Lead cross-functional teams including IT or engineering to ensure timely delivery of portal features and enhancements, including the Portal Governance team.
o Prioritize portal initiatives based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility, managing timelines and budgets effectively.
o Establish processes for continuous improvement of portal performance, reliability, and usability through rigorous monitoring and analysis.
* Stakeholder and Business Units Alignment:
o Act as the primary liaison between Marlink business units, ensuring that portal strategies align with each unit’s goals and challenges.
o Collaborate with internal and cross-functional stakeholders (including Sales, Marketing, or Service Management teams) to ensure portals deliver value to the customers.
o Regularly engage with business unit leaders and key stakeholders to gather feedback, align on priorities, and address any concerns related to portal features, functionality, and accessibility.
o Facilitate feedback loops to drive alignment across various business units.
* User Experience & Design:
o Champion a user-centric approach in portal design, ensuring seamless, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
o Ensure that design best practices are followed in creating responsive, accessible, and high-performance portals across all devices.
o Work closely with UX Lead and Marketing team to ensure that customer journeys are optimized and aligned with Marlink’s branding and business objectives.
REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS
Requirements:
* Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management or a related field, with at least 3 years managing large-scale digital or SaaS platforms, and/or customer-facing portals.
* Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholders at the director level, and in decision-making positions.
* Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), portal infrastructure, and cloud-based technologies. Experience in internal system integrations, API-first architectures and multi-region applications is welcomed. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
* Business Acumen: Ability to bridge technology and business, with a strategic mindset that aligns portal initiatives to company objectives. Data-driven mindset.
* UX & Design: Solid understanding of user experience principles, design thinking, and best practices in digital interface design.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
