As Miravia’s Senior Risk Governance Manager, you will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of risk and compliance frameworks to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance legal and internal policies requirements with operational efficiency, foster collaboration across teams, and drive a culture of compliance company-wide.
Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Policy Development
* Design, update, and implement enterprise-wide risk management policies, standards, and SOPs to address evolving regulations and business initiatives.
* Conduct risk assessments for new products, features, and partnerships to identify gaps and mitigation strategies.
* Collaborate with Legal and Government Affairs teams to be up to date about regulatory developments and translate them into actionable business requirements.
Risk Training & Awareness
* Develop and deliver engaging company-wide training programs on risk and compliance, requirements.
* Regularly update training content to reflect changes in laws, internal policies, and industry best practices in aligment with Legal team.
Regulatory Engagement & Reporting
* Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
* Act as the Risk Governance point of contact for resolving regulatory inquiries and audits.
Compliance Monitoring & Enforcement
* Establish a robust framework for monitoring adherence to policies, SOPs, and regulatory obligations.
* Lead internal audits, document findings, and partner with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
Process Improvement
* Continuously evaluate compliance workflows and tools to identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and efficiency.
* Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Product, Operations) to embed compliance into business processes.
Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in risk governance, compliance, or regulatory affairs, ideally within e-commerce, fintech, or a regulated industry.
* Proven track record of designing and implementing risk governance programs, including policies, training, and audits.
* Experience working on the implementation of e-commerce regulations (e.g., Digital Services Act (DSA), GPSR, etc).
* Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
* Exceptional communication skills, with experience simplifying complex compliance concepts for diverse audiences.
