The Commercial Director IBERIA for Leica Biosystems is responsible for developing and implementing an integrated growth strategy for the full LBS product portfolio in IBERIA. This includes increasing market share through effective market leadership and growing our associates.
This role is part of our Commercial Organisation and will be remote but located in Madrid or Barcelona. As part of our EMEA Leadership team, you'll report to the VP Commercial EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver budgeted performance by achieving or exceeding planned growth for all product lines within IBERIA.
* Develop and execute a sales strategy with a thoughtful approach to market potential and growth objectives.
* Own the regional forecast through rigorous funnel management and opportunity review.
* Oversee elite selling practices, key account management, competitive selling, and hunting/prospecting skills.
* Attract and retain a top-performing team, focused on holistic accountability to customer relationships.
* Develop and drive effectiveness of a best-in-class Service & Customer Care team.
Essential Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in sciences or healthcare-related field.
* Demonstrated success in leading commercial teams in the healthcare sector, managing long- and short-term business cycles.
* Proven track record in managing complex key accounts and implementing winning key account management practices.
* In-depth experience with sales methods, policies, processes, tools, and procedures.
* Excellent analytical capabilities and financial acumen in complex environments.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships.
* Proven track record as a developing and enabling people manager.
Additional Information:
This position requires up to 50% travel and is eligible for a remote work arrangement.
