Aethos Mallorca – Our hotels
Aethos Mallorca is the latest addition to our carefully curated collection of hotels, set to open in June 2025. Position summary
As a Bell Host, I will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, providing personalized and seamless service throughout their journey at Aethos Mallorca. My responsibilities include assisting with luggage, guiding guests to their rooms, providing car valet service, and arranging transportation as needed.
I will manage arrivals, departures, and special requests, address inquiries, and anticipate guest needs. My role supports the Front Office team, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Key responsibilities
* Operational ownership
I will ensure the smooth operation of the Bell Host role by:
* Providing a warm, professional welcome and a memorable farewell to all guests.
* Managing luggage handling with care and ensuring prompt delivery to and from rooms.
* Assisting with valet services and managing vehicles securely and efficiently.
* Arranging transportation requests, including taxis and private transportation.
* Overseeing private transfers, ensuring timely driver arrival and luxury vehicle conditions.
* Maintaining a visible presence in the lobby and entrances to assist guests and visitors.
* Communicating guest preferences to the team to personalize their experience.
* Keeping all department equipment and facilities, such as trolleys, the lobby, luggage storage, and parking area clean and in good working condition.
* Coordinating with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
* Adhering to all standards and procedures, ensuring consistency in service.
* Completing daily checklists and additional tasks as assigned.
I will ensure smooth and efficient operations by:
* Creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects Aethos' standards.
* Anticipating and fulfilling guest needs with a personal touch.
* Providing information about the property, services, and local area.
* Supporting seamless check-in and check-out with the Front Office team.
* Conducting site inspections and hotel tours as needed.
* Offering directions and accompanying guests throughout the resort.
Financial Performance
I will contribute to the financial success of the Bell & Door team by:
* Ensuring accurate handling of valet parking transactions.
* Promoting premium services and experiences to guests.
* Managing resources efficiently to balance service excellence and cost-effectiveness.
* Following all financial procedures for Valet Parking service.
* Reporting any damage incurred during work performance promptly for quick resolution through the insurance company.
* Providing necessary information to Finance and Management teams during unannounced cashier audits.
People Management Support
As a team member, I will contribute to a collaborative and positive work environment by:
* Participating in training sessions to enhance skills and service standards.
* Supporting colleagues in achieving team goals and delivering exceptional service.
* Actively contributing to a culture of respect, teamwork, and shared success.
Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in a guest-facing role, ideally within luxury hospitality.
* Strong communication skills in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
* A professional, proactive, and guest-focused attitude.
* A valid driver’s license to manage Valet Parking and ensure careful handling of vehicles.
* Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., HUBos).
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
* A solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
Additional Requirements
* Flexibility in scheduling, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic hotel environment.
* Physical requirements include lifting and carrying luggage, standing and walking for extended periods.
* Dynamic responsibilities may include additional tasks or support as needed.
