WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will join our Technology Delivery team within our Enterprise Technology practice, serving end-to-end technology and digital transformations for our priority clients. You can look forward to being embedded in teams consisting of other driven and curious Bain staff, working alongside other teams on process excellence, architecture, design, and software development, among others. With this uniquely diverse group, you will serve leading companies in every industry, helping them to define and implement tech-enabled transformations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Mission
* Support the day-to-day implementation of technology transformation projects, focusing primarily on the delivery and operationalization of strategic initiatives to achieve significant outcomes and impact.
* Ensure alignment between technology strategy and implementation, orchestrating client and third-party teams.
* Help lead cross-functional teams in implementing project management strategies to achieve project objectives, including scope, schedule, and budget.
* Focus on delivery assurance to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of strategic recommendations, utilizing project management principles to monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
* Improve efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of clients’ business processes and operations in the context of large tech transformations.
* Drive the implementation of large scale transformation programs to ensure efficient and effective implementation of strategic recommendations that align with clients' goals and objectives.
* Identify issues, create hypotheses and execute analysis; translate data into meaningful insights; present recommendations to key decision makers.
* Move the client to action; develop a plan to implement the strategic recommendations; manage the execution.
* Coach and develop junior team members.
Essential functions
* Participate in end-to-end technology and digital transformation projects, solving the most pressing needs of our clients.
* Establish and implement PMO tools such as Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, LeanIX from inception, guiding the team through onboarding to ensure seamless project operations and efficiency.
* Execute project management activities, ensuring adherence to established methodologies, processes, and standards within the PMO.
* Help oversee the preparation and refinement of project deliverables, including comprehensive reports, workshop materials, and compelling business proposals, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
* Drive continuous improvement of the project management process to enhance project delivery efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
* Support in managing and coaching teams to research and understand the client organization and industry; interview, conduct focus groups and facilitate workshops with client employees, management teams and other stakeholders.
* Identify and capitalize on value-creation opportunities in each client situation, ensuring that strategic initiatives translate into measurable business impact.
* Organize the work of the team by allocating clear responsibilities among case team members.
* Manage and ensure execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses of business processes.
* Prepare and finalize project deliverables, including reports, workshop materials, and business proposals.
* Coordinate initiatives and oversee project management processes, standards and governance to ensure project delivers value according to timeline and quality standards.
ABOUT YOU
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science / Engineering, Information management or other tech-related fields.
Preferred: MBA, courses in digital/tech transformation.
Experience
6+ years of experience in consulting, a start-up or other business environments.
