Role Description
You will be joining the Regulatory team at Datamaran to support critical functions of the team, including assisting with regulatory research, analysing regulations with the help of artificial intelligence (AI), performing data entry, and implementing data quality checks.
You understand the scope and purpose of our regulatory database, and you work to improve our coverage and processes, particularly for US-related legal developments. You are passionate about the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) regulatory landscape and familiar with the global sustainability reporting landscape.
Breakdown of role:
Regulatory research (40%)
* Research regulatory initiatives, national and international regulations, EU Directives, reporting frameworks, guidelines, and industry initiatives ESG related.
* Lead on USA-related research projects.
* Assist colleagues with questions related to USA-related legal developments.
Regulatory analysis & data entry (40%)
* Perform regulatory analysis & data entry process (assisted by AI).
* Undertake quality checks of data entry & analyses carried out by other members of the team.
Support critical functions of the team (20%)
* Support data quality projects under the direction of Datamaran's Regulatory Data Associate.
* Support ontology-related projects.
* Support "ad-hoc" research requests.

The role requires that our Data Analysts are prepared to work on a hybrid basis, flexibly from our Valencia office and should therefore be located in Valencia, or within commutable distance.
