Description
We're looking for native speakers of French who already live in the area or are close to Los Belones to work with our team of enthusiastic teachers and monitors.
You will be working with Spanish children on a French immersion programme, so no Spanish is required for these positions. Our team is expected to speak French at all times! However, English and/or Spanish would be useful for communicating with other colleagues in the company.
Contracts are drawn up on a weekly basis for the bookings we have. This is not a permanent full-time position at the moment, but as a growing business we hope to be able to offer more work to key members of our team in the future.
For our teaching positions, you must be qualified and, although experience is an advantage, we are willing to consider candidates who are enthusiastic, computer literate, and able to work with children of all ages. All lessons and activities are provided; you do not have to plan lessons. Teachers normally work mornings and afternoons, which can vary depending on the group.
For our monitor positions, experience is an advantage but not necessary if you are motivated, energetic, outgoing, and enjoy working with children. Monitors also receive an evening meal with our team.
Monitor positions are very active, so candidates must be able to demonstrate energy and enthusiasm throughout the time they spend with students. Monitor working hours depend on the group, but can range from 9am to 10:30pm.
We would particularly like to hear from teachers and counsellors who have talents. Sport, drama, singing, music, dance, and any other skills you would like to share are welcome.
These roles could be of particular interest to people looking for temporary work to supplement their income or people looking for experience and a new opportunity.
Successful candidates will receive full training. We strive to create a pleasant and positive working environment for all members of our team.
Please note that if your first language is not French, your application will not be considered. You must be resident in Spain and have the necessary authorisations to work there.
You must be available for interview within the next few weeks and be able to start working for us in March 2025.
