We are currently looking for a Service Sales Manager in Grid Technologies focus on the Service market of High Voltage grid transmission solutions and systems.
The main objective of this position is to grow the opportunity pipeline and orders in new and existing markets of Grid Technologies, with specific focus on Service Business that Siemens Energy has in order to support our customers in the energy transition.
You will be responsible for the Service Business.
How You’ll Make an Impact
·In charge of Grid technologies Service business development in Spain .
·Key customers relationship with main players such as solar / windfarm developers, IPP, Industrial and EPC including regular and frequent visits to build relationship.
·Enlarge market share and create opportunities, by participating to fairs, associations.
·Support Execution Unit head to define market strategy and targets.
·Price and market analysis for competitors.
·Price negotiation with customers.
·Assist system configuration and discussion with the tendering and execution teams in Service.
·Ensure that the Sales and Tendering processes are implemented in line with Siemens Energy process and in a compliant and ethical manner.
·Take the ownership of the whole sales process for projects opportunities within the Lead Management through to Project Handover and make necessary coordination with other involved parties to provide technically accurate and commercially/financially compliant proposals.
·Enable, when necessary, the level of escalation appropriate to solve critical aspects.
·To initiate a continuous development towards deeper technical knowledge in the allocated portfolio and to extend expertise towards more complex business.
· Define Bid/Win Strategy and developing technical solutions to meet customer needs.
What You Bring
·Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical discipline
·Specific knowledge and > 5 years experience with Substation business will be a preferential expertise. Project management experience will be an advantage.
·General knowledge of HV portfolio.
·Experience in Service Business.
·Available to frequent business trips on national level, and sometimes also international
·Excellent / mother-tongue Spanish language mandatory
·Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken,
·Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
·High level of comprehension, strong analytical and structuring skills, strategic thinking, assertiveness, curiosity and initiative
·Good interpersonal skills, ability to develop and keep long term relationship with the customers
·High skills for collaborative work among diverse teams and different countries, ability to create good team environment and be a key part to motivate it towards the common and individual objectives
·Strong orientation to reach the targets and to customer service, initiative, and autonomy
·Willingness to have regular customer visits.
·Disciplined in planning, organizing, and structuring of resources. Also to be considered good analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic thinker, Entrepreneurial spirit.
