Key Account Manager HealthCare IT Madrid
Agfa Healthcare is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager. In this position, you will act as the single point of contact to customers for Agfa products & services and be responsible for identifying opportunities, creating an account strategy, coordinating and controlling the sales process, as well as managing customer expectations and negotiating contracts. The Key Account Manager will also define a winning local sales strategy to secure new customers by conveying the features, benefits, and value proposition of Agfa HealthCare's full portfolio of IT products. This position reports into the Business Manager Imaging IT, and will be based in Madrid.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Create and execute account strategy in order to protect the current installed customer base.
* Ensure customer satisfaction as well as customer credibility and confidence in Agfa by developing strategies and tactics in support of critical account management activities at assigned accounts, to include broad communication, documentation, setting customer expectations, support team leadership, relationship management, and technology refresh.
* Create and manage a profitable annual Order Intake and Sales plan for Enterprise Imaging portfolio products and increase the win rate versus competition by:
* Preparing and executing strategic account plans and a business plan.
* Adhering to and promoting a strategic selling process where your contributions assist in defining and refining a consistent and repeatable formula for winning new business.
* Developing and expanding consultative sales relationships with key buying influences within the customer's organization including key management and executive management.
* Improving the accuracy of detailed forecasts and funnel reports.
* Improving effectiveness of high-level selling at assigned accounts.
* Perform Customer Relationship Management, set clear customer expectations and manage clear communications both internally and with the customer to ensure seamless implementation, sponsor customer escalation processes, and issue problems.
* Manage bid process.
* Serve as a business advisor to the company on its product roadmap, vision, and business development plans:
* Translating client needs to develop a solution strategy in conjunction with relevant market and competitive analysis.
* Providing customer and market intelligence to the Agfa marketing and product development teams to develop and strengthen the product portfolio.
* Actively maintaining knowledge of the industry trends and competition and sharing that information internally with leadership and key stakeholders.
* Manage expenses to budget and operate at a standard of excellence in regards to teamwork, safety, ethics, diversity, Agfa’s Quality System, business processes, and the HealthCare Code of Conduct.
* Travel up to 70% of the time to customer sites, sales meetings, and tradeshows or as required by business conditions.
Desired Skills and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in selling HealthCare IT solutions and/or medical imaging to hospitals, academic medical centers, and large health systems.
Specific skills:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface with diverse stakeholders, including selling top management on IT system capital projects and working with all other hospital clinical functions in the decision-making process.
* Strong prospecting skills and proven track records of winning new customers.
* Entrepreneurial attitude and proactive business style.
* Proficiency in Strategic Selling concepts and/or comparable sales process and tools.
* Competitive imaging or software product experience/knowledge.
* Self-starter and independent thinker, with the aptitude to work autonomously.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with customers at all levels.
* Robust interpersonal skills, with evidence of teamwork and collaboration.
* Solid process orientation and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Plan and organize your time effectively, taking a disciplined approach to setting and achieving goals and objectives.
