Descripción del trabajo
Tritium, we are building super robots that are changing an industry.
We are building super robots that will redefine an industry. We can’t say more yet, but this is your chance to work on something never done before in Europe. If you’re truly great at robotics, Simulink, and real-world control, you belong here.
Stealth mode until summer 2025. Ready to start in March.
What We’re Looking For
We need a Robotics Engineer specialized in Control.
Everything is done in Simulink on STM32. No exceptions.
Key Areas of Expertise (Must Have All 3, No Exceptions)
1. Embedded Systems (Minimum 5 Years Experience)
* STM32 hardware bring-up – sensors, comms (UART, SPI, CAN).
* Motor drivers over CAN bus – integrating & debugging.
* CubeMX – you need basic to intermediate experience to configure the STM32 ecosystem.
* Basic firmware understanding – enough to integrate sensors & actuators into Simulink.
2. Control Systems (Advanced Level, Non-Linear)
* Non-linear control – we work with specific advanced methods.
* System identification – NO mathematical modeling, just real-world system characterization.
* High-speed precision control – designed for millisecond-level disturbance rejection.
3. Robotics (Advanced Level, Simulink Only)
* Robot behavior implementation – Stateflow or other valid approaches.
* Obstacle avoidance – LiDAR, edge sensors, real-world safety logic.
* Path planning & sensor fusion – integration of motion with real-world constraints.
Who Should Apply?
* 5+ years of real experience (after your degree).
* You work in Simulink & STM32. That’s the core of the job.
* You understand motors, sensors, and CAN bus integration.
* You can do non-linear control & system identification.
* You can make sure the robot doesn’t collide with walls.
Who Should NOT Apply?
* If you don’t work in Simulink, don’t apply.
* If you only have theoretical control experience, don’t apply.
* If you don’t have at least 5 years of hands-on robotics work, don’t apply.
* If you don’t want to be tested in a multi-stage selection, don’t apply.
Path to Head of Robotics
Top performers move toward Head of Robotics within a few years (includes equity).
How to Apply
After this stage will go through a form, then a real practical assessment. Remote on our server, to assess and validate your skills.
Lot's of people instantly forget what they said they have as experience in that moment, so fill in the form with precisely only what you master right now. :)
