We are looking for a Senior Events Lead to focus on one of our flagship projects within the Events Department:
the HP Amplify Project—a hybrid partner roadshow with a strong emphasis on virtual events. This is a large-scale event, held in more than 140 countries with more than 14,000 customers.
In this position, you will work within our Amplify Events team to plan, manage, and implement actions for the optimal functioning of the project and its continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Events Director and collaborating closely with our partners at Intracon Germany, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Local Collaborations Project Leadership:
Lead the HP Amplify project strategy proposals at a local level, collaborating closely with our partner in Germany. Focus on optimizing workflows and aligning project goals with client expectations to maximize impact and efficiency.
* Financial Oversight and Control:
Collaborate with the Accounting team on the project budgeting, status tracking, and financial reporting, ensuring financial rigor, cost-efficiency, and alignment with project forecasts.
* Client Relationship Management:
Maintain contact with the different project managers for proper alignment and coordination across assigned regions, adapting strategies to meet evolving client needs and proactively proposing process enhancements that drive project success.
* Team Mentorship and Development:
Mentor and support the Events team, especially Events Assistants, fostering a collaborative environment and building the team’s capacity to meet high standards and anticipate project challenges.
* Event Lifecycle Management:
Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution (mainly online), ensuring seamless coordination with logistics and audiovisual teams, and adapting the process to meet unique project requirements.
* Continuous Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance project flows, implement new methodologies, and create documentation that supports consistency and excellence in execution.
* Quality Assurance and Evaluation:
Lead post-event analysis and client feedback sessions, distilling insights to refine future project strategies and reporting on key metrics that reflect the success and areas for improvement within the project.
* Stakeholder Coordination:
Ensure effective communication and alignment among internal teams, including logistics, audiovisual, and Accounting, to support integrated project operations and address any operational challenges.
Background & Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or related field;
a Master’s degree is a plus
* 5+ years of experience in end-to-end project management, ideally with a focus on strategic events or high-impact marketing initiatives
* Previous experience in client management and developing project strategies that align with client objectives
* Strong leadership capabilities with experience mentoring teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration
* Expertise in budget oversight, project tracking, and performance analytics to drive project efficiency and success
* Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel for budget control and data analysis)
* Knowledge of streaming platforms and hybrid event solutions (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
* Adaptability to work across time zones and tailor approaches to diverse client needs
* Fluency in English;
other languages are a plus
