What’s the Job?
As a Banqueting Supervisor, you will oversee the execution of Food & Beverage services for events, ensuring seamless operations and upholding the highest company standards. You will demonstrate leadership, attention to detail, anticipation, and in-depth knowledge of our products and services to deliver exceptional experiences.
You will always follow the hotel's Food & Beverage service sequence, ensuring compliance with local health & safety regulations and internal policies. As a brand ambassador, you will lead by example, inspiring your team to maintain excellence and embody the InterContinental Life in every event.
Your day-to-day
* Execute and conduct all banquet reservations, taking care of amenities to arrange exceptional hospitality experiences.
* Lead and manage all banqueting events, ensuring high-quality luxury service for our guests.
* Oversee the functioning of all banqueting department colleagues, ensuring effective relationships and maximum department profit.
* Under the guidance of the Banqueting Manager, perform functions such as hiring, orientation, coaching, traning.
Requirements
* Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
* Hospitality Passion: Knowledge or passion for luxury and hospitality.
* Positive Attitude: Excellent communication skills and a positive approach.
* Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities.
* Language Proficiency: Fluency in Spanish & English, with a preference for an additional language.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and ensure events run smoothly.
What We Need From You
* 3+ years’ related experience.
* 5-star luxury experience is a must.
* Oracle MICROS knowledge will be highly valuable.
* Flexibility to work a range of hours, which includes but is not limited to afternoons, evenings & public holidays.
