Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Maintenance Systems Manager to join our MAKE Asset Management Organization located in Wilson, North Carolina. This role will support a new site startup, which may require periods of heightened travel to support these activities. This travel would be during the site ramp-up period and dependent on functional needs and project timelines. While this role will ultimately support the site operations in Wilson, NC, it will also require support during the project phase across both design and construction.
For the project design phase, the role will require you to be present with our design teams in the Greater Philadelphia region. Once the design phase is completed, this role will support the construction and operational start-up of the site, requiring on-site presence in Wilson, NC. Based on your current location, the hiring team will work with you to determine travel and relocation arrangements. In steady state, we expect travel to be less than 25%.
Position Summary :
The MAM (MAKE Asset Management) organization operates as one integrated team in the delivery of Engineering, Maintenance, and Execution Systems solutions. The Maintenance Systems Manager reports to the Maintenance Senior Manager and provides hands-on process, data, and people leadership in the following service areas: SAP master data; spare parts inventory, process, purchasing, vendor and cost; maintenance planning and scheduling, contractor oversight, maintenance data contextualization.
Key Responsibilities :
* Responsible for planning, designing, and implementing maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment.
* Plans and coordinates maintenance engineering work including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications.
* Direct supervision of maintenance staff and contractor personnel, including SAP Master Data Analyst, Storeroom Coordinator, and contractors.
* Establish maintenance strategies that drive safe, reliable, effective, efficient, and customer-centric maintenance operations.
* Accountable for the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Process.
* Maintain a culture of participation and compliance with EHS policies and procedures.
* Manage the completion of CAPAs and provide SME support as necessary.
* Lead SAP CMMS documentation management, updates, and improvements.
* Identify and execute continuous improvement, simplification, and cost reduction opportunities.
* Support the digitalization roadmap improving maintenance data contextualization residing in the CMMS.
* Lead the visualization of metrics and dashboards to facilitate performance dialogues.
Qualifications :
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT Science, or related is required.
* Required: A minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of maintenance activities in GMP manufacturing, utilities, and facilities equipment.
* Detail and goal-oriented, teamwork, customer-focus, thorough understanding of GMPs and regulatory requirements.
* CMMS experience (SAP or Maximo).
