Department: Global Service Supply Chain / One Tool Unit / Tools Region EMEA
The One Tool Unit is the provider of tools used for Wind Turbine Generator installation projects and service across the world. 600 different installation projects in 27 different countries were provided with tools in 2024 in the EMEA Region.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and solving logistic and planning tasks for the Sales Business Units (SBU's), Construction Tools Hubs (CTH), Global Procurement (GP), and Technology & Service Solutions (TSS) under the overall targets of One Tool Unit.
1. Handling of customer orders from the individual SBU projects or Service units.
2. Coordinating transportation between Tools Hub and worldwide allocated customers.
3. Controlling stock availability and providing solutions to avoid project stops.
4. Coordination and contact with suppliers.
5. Logistic and technical support to construction sites and service operations.
6. Logistic and technical support to the regional Construction Tools warehouses.
Qualifications
1. Graduate Degree or above in Engineering, Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain or experience in a similar position in the Energy Industry (Wind related).
2. Minimum of 3-5 years related logistical experience in a well-established international company.
3. Experience in project-oriented work in a make-to-order environment and understanding the importance of project plans and deadlines.
4. Proficiency in the following software: SAP (PE01), SAP Hana or equivalent ERP software, SAP Document Management System, Engineering Change Management, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
5. Good communication skills in English, both written and orally.
6. Good interpersonal and communication skills, focusing on good teamwork.
7. Open-minded and good at sharing and gathering information within a team.
8. The ability to see the bigger picture and quickly get an overview of complex situations.
9. Ability to work in stressful situations without losing focus.
10. Capable of making fast decisions and managing situations.
11. Ability to manage variability and work adequately in ambiguous situations.
12. Willingness to learn.
13. Organized mindset.
