WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As the first point of contact for our many customers, you will resolve issues for some of the world's most prominent newspapers and broadcasters. You will be part of an international organization where great colleagues are eager to welcome you to the team.
In this bustling environment, you will be exposed to our complete product catalog, technologies, and operational solutions. We offer both on-premise as well as cloud-based SaaS solutions built on Amazon Cloud.
Help our customers resolve their issues
As a Support Analyst, you will dive into a world of code, database systems, virtualization technologies, networks, servers, and more. You will manage incident reports from the customer's second-level support and communicate directly with their IT staff to resolve the issues.
More specifically, you will:
1. Handle incoming reports and requests in our ticket system
2. Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve issues
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* Have a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
* Have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java as the primary language
* Have experience with Docker/Containers
* Are familiar with Linux or other Unix-based operating systems
* Are proficient in web technologies
* Have experience in running and tuning databases, such as MySQL
* Know about infrastructure, network technologies, and application security
* Familiarity with Bash, Python, PHP, Perl, Java, Tomcat, Nginx is a plus
* Speak and write English
