JOB SUMMARY
This position incardinates in the HQ Tax Team, reporting to the VP Tax and has one direct report, the Tax Director of HQ and Spain. Additionally, this position will collaborate closely with the persons responsible for the tax reporting in the rest of the Business Units. His / her responsibility will involve managing tax-related activities of the Business Units in Southern Europe, Northern Europe and Latam as well as managing transfer pricing matters of the Group.
EXPERIENCE
At least 15 years. Experience in Big Four or law firms and in-house would be a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Law or Business Administration degree.
* Master in Corporate and / or International Tax.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Tax compliance: Ensure the company complies with all relevant tax laws and regulations. This includes preparing and filing tax returns, managing tax payments, and staying updated on changes in tax legislation.
* Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including calculation of the CIT expense and tax-related disclosures.
* Transfer Pricing: Manage transfer pricing matters of the Group.
* Audit Assistance: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, responding to audit queries, and implementing audit recommendations.
* M&A Projects: Participate in M&A projects by conducting tax due diligence, evaluating tax implications of potential acquisitions, and providing tax-related advice to support strategic decision-making.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate tax-related risks to protect the company's financial interests.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide tax-related guidance and support.
PREFERRED SKILLS
* Very good knowledge of tax accounting.
* Fluency in English required.
* Experience of managing and developing people.
