Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Medical Science Liaison (MSL). The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as an MSL, with a strong focus on three years in dermatology. This role will serve as a scientific expert, fostering relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and other stakeholders to provide critical medical and scientific support for our dermatology portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and maintain strong, credible relationships with KOLs, dermatologists, researchers, and other HCPs to facilitate scientific discussions.
2. Act as a trusted scientific resource, delivering accurate and balanced medical information about dermatology products, disease states, and treatment landscapes.
3. Engage in scientific advisory boards, congresses, and medical conferences to gather insights and share new developments.
4. Provide scientific and clinical training to internal teams, including sales, marketing, and medical affairs.
5. Develop and deliver presentations on disease state education, new treatments, and emerging dermatology research.
6. Collaborate with clinical development teams to ensure alignment of research initiatives with medical and business strategies.
7. Identify gaps in clinical evidence and relay insights to drive future research.
8. Work cross-functionally with commercial, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance teams to ensure strategic alignment.
9. Support medical information requests and collaborate with medical writing teams to develop educational materials.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Doctoral degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD) in a relevant scientific field (e.g., dermatology, immunology, pharmacology).
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with at least 3 years of experience in dermatology (pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry preferred).
3. In-depth understanding of dermatology disease states, treatments, and evolving therapeutic landscapes.
4. Strong network of KOLs and HCPs in dermatology is a plus.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to travel 50-70% within the assigned territory.
