We are looking for a CLOUD ARCHITECT based in our BOADILLA DEL MONTE (Madrid) office with at least 5 years of experience in Public Cloud.

Your Role:
We are looking for a CLOUD ARCHITECT based in our BOADILLA DEL MONTE (Madrid) office. This area is responsible for providing a Global Platform based in Cloud Service Provider services from the design, development, deployment to operation for all the different entities within Santander Group to enable their journey to cloud - a key team in our technology ecosystem.
Your main tasks will be:
1. Contribute to the definition of Cloud Strategy and Architecture.
2. Provide architectural support on how to design highly scalable, flexible, resilient, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures helping the Group to understand advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.
3. Contribute to the definition of the Public Cloud architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices for large scale technology solutions, open systems application and infrastructure, network and system management solutions, security monitoring, IT Operations and processes, DevOps, and APIs.
4. Monitor public cloud usage and optimize configuration to reduce operation costs.

1. University Degree (Post-graduate will be a plus).
2. +5 years experience as a Cloud Architect.
