Digital Solutions is a highly strategic and crucial department for our product-focused company. It was initiated with the aim of providing a modern and innovative suite of software & data solutions aligned with the Company portfolio strategy and internal operational needs. Following the strategy and prioritization, Digital Solutions is in charge of the entire design and execution of the Software solutions roadmap!
What You Will Do
As a Data Engineer in the Digital Solutions field, you will be responsible for all activities related to:
* Data Architecture: Collaborate with architects and development teams to design and implement efficient databases, data warehouses, and data lakes, with a strong focus on scalable and maintainable data models.
* Pipeline Development: Design and implement ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, cleaning, and transformation.
* Governance & Quality: Enforce data governance rules to maintain security, privacy, and compliance standards; establish data quality metrics and processes to ensure clean, reliable datasets.
* Performance Monitoring: Troubleshoot and fine-tune pipelines for reliability and cost-effectiveness.
* Documentation: Define and document requirements, processes, and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
* Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field; 3+ years in data or software engineering.
* Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python/Java/Scala, SQL, workflow orchestration (Airflow), and cloud data services.
* Data Modeling: Demonstrated competency in designing databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and efficient schema designs that support both analytical and operational use cases.
* Real-time Data Streaming: Experience in designing and managing real-time data pipelines using technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis.
* Data Governance & Quality: Proven ability to establish and enforce data governance principles, ensuring high levels of data quality, security, and compliance.
* Predictive Modeling: Must have experience working with predictive models.
* Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
* A strong development background, indicating robust coding practices and a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
* Knowledge and/or experience in data analytics and machine learning technologies/implementations is considered an advantage.
