Role overview
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on HR professional who enjoys and has experience across all-things HR. The successful candidate will have the ability to work quickly, efficiently and methodically and have in depth knowledge of HR processes and procedures, including but not limited to employee experience, talent management and reward & recognition.
Operating in the People First culture of our energetic, fast paced, dynamic company requires from the HR team to have a good understanding of how people-focused and business-efficient HR processes look and can be built, while dealing with a degree of ambiguity that comes with growth and transformational change.
Role responsibilities
* Proactively partnering with other functions to deliver a first-class people strategy aligned to attracting and retaining talent, embedding performance development, supporting business growth and encouraging better business alignment and synergies both at a strategic and operational level.
* Providing day-to-day HR support on HR queries and initiatives
* Ensuring compliance with the local labour laws for Spain.
* Supporting business with advice on employment laws and HR best practices.
* Partnering with the leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Ensuring the people-related planning, employee related issues, processes and initiatives are appropriately managed, in line with best practice, and engaging with the people managers.
* Leading recruitment activities, including job postings, interviews and hiring decisions.
* Helping effective onboarding.
* Defining HR processes and policies. This includes work on processes improvement and harmonisation.
* Running HR administration and payroll related activities (reports, company letters, etc.).
* Overseeing payroll processes.
* Managing benefit programmes.
* Identifying employee development needs and facilitating L&D initiatives.
* Maintaining HRIS (Workday).
* Supporting implementation of HR projects to enhance achievement of the HR functional objectives.
Key requirements
* Positive attitude and self-motivation.
* High attention to detail.
* A strong team player with the ability to learn quickly.
* Deep understanding of the Spanish labour laws, HR best practices and employee relations; knowledge of Portuguese labour law would be a plus.
* Ability to adapt in a fast paced and changing environment with ambiguity.
* Ability to work well independently but confidence and curiosity to ask questions.
* High level of numeracy and literacy.
* Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Fluency in English and Spanish; any additional European language is an advantage for this job.
* Workday experience, desired.
Eligibility
**This role is based in Spain. While all applicants are welcome, preference will be given to suitable candidates who already have the legal right to work in Spain and do not require VISA sponsorship.
