You’ll cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, uncover new business opportunities, and collaborate with our Inside Sales Engineers to deliver solutions that meet both customer needs and commercial goals. This role is all about driving growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and positioning Convergint as the go-to partner for data center security and technology integration in your region.What You’ll Do Drive Account Success: Oversee the performance and satisfaction of significant data center accounts in your region, acting as the primary point of contact for escalations and ensuring swift, effective resolutions.Build Lasting Relationships: Forge and strengthen connections with regional customers and supply chain partners, leveraging these relationships to unlock new opportunities and enhance collaboration.Lead with Insight: Track and report regional performance metrics, providing sales and leadership teams with actionable data to inform global strategies and optimize commercial outcomes.Fuel Growth: Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, delivering regular updates to leadership to guide resource planning and strategic decision-making.Facilitate Collaboration: Host quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key stakeholders, fostering team transparency and alignment.Ensure Excellence in Execution: Lead pre-bid reviews, support project estimations, and guide Inside Sales Engineers to ensure proposals align with customer expectations, regional standards, and best practices.Safeguard Commercial Success: Validate project bids and cost-to-complete (CTC) analyses to ensure financial viability and market competitiveness.Expand Our Reach: Identify and pursue new business by building partnerships within the data center ecosystem, exploring strategic alliances to penetrate new markets and elevate Convergint’s presence.What You Bring to the TableEssential Qualifications:Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the data center or technology sector.Deep expertise in physical security solutions for data centers, including CCTV, door access control, and fire prevention systems.Firm grasp of commercial processes, opportunity pipeline management, and strategic sales techniques.Exceptional relationship-building skills with a talent for connecting with diverse stakeholders.Proficiency in data analysis and presenting performance metrics that drive decision-making.Preferred Skills:Experience managing large accounts or regional portfolios in the data center space.Insight into data center market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies.Familiarity with project estimation and RFP processes in a security or technology context.Why Convergint?At Convergint, you’ll join a team that delivers unparalleled service and innovative solutions that protect what matters most.
