The position
As a Global Trial Manager within Rare Disease & Advanced Therapies, you will play an instrumental role in the execution of phase I-IV global clinical trials.
You will be part of a best-in-class, ambitious development organisation with established procedures in place, hence allowing you to focus on driving change and innovation.
You will facilitate strong collaboration between key partners contributing to trial conduct, such as medical, biostatistics, data management, pharmacovigilance, global affiliate colleagues and CROs to ensure successful start-up, conduct, and closure of clinical trials.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering results with direct impact on a successful conduct of clinical trials
2. Daily global trial management from trial start-up to trial closure
3. Drive a successful collaboration with affiliate colleagues across the world
4. Coordinate and ensure trial deliverables from key partners in HQ functions.
5. Perform quality oversight in collaboration with relevant functions
6. Conduct global monitor and investigator meetings and related training activities.
7. Ensure contracts are in place and oversee vendor deliverables and escalate issues
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
1. MSc or BSc degree in Natural or Health Sciences
2. Practical experience from working with interventional clinical trials as Local Trial Manager, Global Project/Trial Manager or similar
3. Proven track record of strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
4. Thriving with operational responsibility and driving progress
5. Professional proficiency in English

About the department
You will be part of the Clinical Drug Development (CDD) organisation within the larger Development organisation. CDD is a project centric organisation driving the Development portfolio through world-wide clinical trial activities in close collaboration with Novo Nordisk colleagues around the world.
Under this role you will report to our management team based in Denmark so some travel to HQ offices is expected. Moreover, you will be dedicated to Rare Disease & Advanced Therapies. Novo Nordisk has for many years been pioneers in this field.
We currently have several ongoing Phase 1-4 trials within Haemophilia, Growth Disorders and Sickle Cell Disease areas, and are soon entering new indications. In addition, we are responsible for the execution of the Novo Nordisk stem cell portfolio.
Today we span over various technologies such as proteins, monoclonal antibodies, cells, and gene therapy as treatment platforms. We use advanced innovative trial designs, with modern digital and decentralised ways to collect clinical data.
