Perdigó is a medical device engineering consultancy based in Barcelona (Sant Just Desvern). We develop innovative medical products and technologies designed to improve people's lives. We offer high-calibre, multidisciplinary engineering expertise to clients in the healthcare market, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical device sectors.
Example projects include developing Brain Computer Interfaces (BCI), designing an In-Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) device for breast cancer detection from concept to industrialisation, developing a drug delivery device with integrated electronics for patient health monitoring, commissioning biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment with industrial automation systems, and creating innovative healthcare solutions such as wearable embedded systems.
We are looking for an electronics consultant engineer who is highly motivated to contribute to projects alongside our Medical team
Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop custom hardware using CAE / CAD tools such as Altium or KiCad.
Develop and integrate custom electronics and embedded firmware / software for medical devices.
Participate in all stages of the research, design, and development process, from initial concept and prototyping to production and testing.
Design, prototype, and "debug" electronic PCBs and subsystems.
Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 60601, and ISO 62304.
Oversee project management, including defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables; coordinating with clients and manufacturers; and providing regular updates on project status and progress.
Communicate and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to an environment that fosters innovation and excellence.
Requirements :
Bachelor's or higher degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in embedded hardware development, preferably using Altium or KiCad.
At least 2 years of experience in developing embedded firmware / software in C, with a solid understanding of compilation processes, including linker scripts, build system configurations, and compiler flags.
Proficiency in Git for version control.
Experience with Rust for embedded programming is highly valued.
Experience with power electronics or RF is highly valued.
Proficiency in cortex M, cortex A is highly valued.
Strong attention to detail, particularly in debugging and troubleshooting software.

Based in or willing to relocate to Barcelona.
Proficient in English, with strong communication skills.
