We are looking for a Senior 3D Software Engineer - Cloud (flexible working time and partial remote work possible) to join our growing team in Madrid, Spain or Lausanne, Switzerland.
You will join our Cloud team and you will contribute to build our cloud-based 3D editor, optimized for the precise visualization and analysis of the scenes reconstructed by our photogrammetry solutions. You will lead the 3D technical strategy and participate in the whole product development lifecycle. You will be responsible for the architecture, development and delivery of our application. From the initial definition to final integration, deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities
1. Lead the technical strategy regarding our Cloud 3D editor.
2. Architect, design, and develop 3D visualization systems to improve and expand the capabilities of the Pix4D cloud based products.
3. Collaborate with Desktop teams on the standards and integration of 3D data models.
4. Investigate cutting-edge technologies to discover innovation opportunities, and share knowledge with teammates.
5. Implement maintainable and scalable solutions, focusing on quality and valuing simplicity.
6. Contribute to the daily operations of the production environment, such as new deployments, monitoring, etc.
Requirements
7. Expert knowledge on ThreeJS or similar, Cesium, Potree
8. Experience with WebGL, Typescript, and Javascript
9. Knowledge of standard formats and strategies to store and load 3D assets in different industries ( Geospatial, Construction, Game, …)
10. Knowledge of Python, Django, Flask, Falcon or is a plus
11. Understanding of AWS infrastructure (S3, EC2, ECS, EBS, SQS…) is a plus
12. Able to perform in a team and autonomously
13. Strong analytical, assessment, and problem-solving skills
14. Be pragmatic and value simplicity in your solutions
15. Proficient English language skills, written and spoken
