About the Job
We are looking for a Citrix Administrator to join our team and take on new challenges.
The successful candidate will have 5 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp and XenDesktop).
Key Responsibilities
* Design, deploy, and configure Citrix solutions, including Virtual Desktops.
* Install, configure, and maintain Citrix infrastructure components such as Citrix StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, and Citrix Director.
* Monitor and manage Windows Server environments integrated with Citrix.
* Perform OS and Citrix patching, upgrades, and version migrations.
* Maintain Active Directory integrations, including user authentication and Group Policy configuration.
* Resolve compatibility issues between applications and virtual environments.
* Troubleshoot connectivity, session, and performance issues in Citrix environments.
* Collaborate with network and storage teams to resolve underlying infrastructure issues.
* Ensure Citrix environments meet organizational security standards and compliance regulations.
* Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for end-users experiencing Citrix-related issues.
* Test disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
* Maintain detailed documentation for Citrix configurations, policies, and procedures.
* Create and update technical guides and knowledge base articles for IT teams and end-users.
* Regularly analyze Citrix environment performance and implement tuning measures.
* Liaise with Citrix and other third-party vendors for support and licensing requirements.
* Ensure proper licensing for Citrix solutions and compliance with vendor agreements.
* Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell or similar tools to automate administrative tasks.
Requirements
* 5 years of experience
* In-depth knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp and XenDesktop)
* Proficiency with Citrix infrastructure components like StoreFront, Delivery Controller, Citrix Director, and Citrix Gateway
* Experience with Citrix ADC (formerly NetScaler) for load balancing and secure access
* ITIL / Service Management tools
* Fluent English
