Under the supervision of the Admissions and Scholarships Manager, we are looking for an administrative and customer-service profile who will help with the day-to-day operations of the admissions office, building interest and excitement among candidates, and helping them through the enrollment process. Some of the primary duties include:
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Advises and provides students with information about programs delivered on the Valencia campus, including the admission process, eligibility requirements, tuition, scholarships and financial aid, and/or other;
2. Engages with and builds excitement among the candidates, helps them through the process from application to enrollment, and keeps them engaged throughout the entire process.
3. Explains school policies and enrollment process to applicants, students, and their families;
4. Assists students in completing admission forms and answering questions related to the admissions and enrollment process (phone and email);
5. Conducts guided campus tours for prospective students, detailing on-campus facilities and resources and available degree options;
6. Processes and manages student data, maintains the current database, along with other data maintenance tasks;
7. Assists with the review and filing of supporting materials, including transcripts;
8. Schedules interviews with applicants;
9. Supports Admissions events and other institutional recruitment functions;
10. Provides some visa support to applicants if needed;
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
We seek applicants who can demonstrate experience in sales and heavy administrative roles, have an excellent level of English and a solid commitment to student service, have a passion for music and the arts that they can convey to others, can work independently and in a team environment, and can multitask.
Required Qualifications:
11. Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in music, performing arts, or education; positively valued master's in marketing or sales.
12. English fluency (C1 minimum or native)
13. A minimum of one year of professional experience in administrative roles along with experience in sales or customer service;
14. Excellent sales and customer service skills
15. Knowledge of and experience with CRMs, Google Suite, and MS Office.
16. Capacity to prioritize projects and remain calm during peak Admissions and enrollment periods;
17. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential;
18. Positive and outgoing attitude and great team spirit;
19. Detail oriented;
20. Ability to meet a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and/or weekends;
21. All applicants must have the current right to work in Spain to be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications: the ideal candidate has one or more of these qualifications
22. Experience in international admissions
23. Performing arts, musical training and/or music industry experience
24. Spanish skills
25. Experience in College/University Admissions
26. Previous study abroad or other significant international experience
27. Experience in using Mac computers
This is a sales-oriented and administrative role, and candidates will be considered if they can demonstrate relevant previous experience.
