About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Manager to join our Revenue Management Team in Madrid to support a European region.
In this role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and boosting profitability for our managed portfolio. You will collaborate closely with the revenue coordinator, General Hotel Managers, and the business unit's marketing, sales, and e-commerce teams to ensure that our revenue management services maintain exceptional standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Pricing: Develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and optimize yield.
2. Pricing and Yield Guidelines: Establish guidelines for rates, room types, and customer segments.
3. Business Mix and Channel Mix Strategy: Define the ideal business mix and channel mix strategy, including overbooking and protection strategies.
4. Revenue Forecasting: Build a 2-year property revenue strategy and budget proposal, prepare forecasts based on company guidelines, and validate RMS forecasts to ensure corrective action improves forecast accuracy.
5. Daily Revenue Management Optimization: Review demand calendars, convention and city event calendars, and set up events and seasonality databases. Perform daily pick-up analysis, review yield system forecasts, competition analysis, and price positioning.
6. Group Quotations and Displacement Analysis: Formulate strategies to support automation of manual processes in revenue management through efficient system use.
7. Performance Monitoring: Carefully monitor market performance, RGI, channel performance, and competitor activity.
Requirements
1. Minimum 4 years of previous experience as Cluster Revenue Manager or Revenue Manager related role.
2. Degree level – preferably in Tourism, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
3. Fluent spoken and written English; knowledge of other languages highly valued.
4. Experienced user of Windows office applications for both analytical (i.e., strong in Microsoft Excel) and communication purposes (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
5. Knowledge of TMS4Hotels or other hotel CRS and PMS Systems or Revenue Management Systems.
