SAMY Alliance is a digital marketing company specializing in advocacy marketing, influencer marketing, and content production. Position Overview:
We seek a strong leader to define, deploy and support SAMY’s technology strategy to support our operations in the context of strong organic and acquisitive growth. This person will integrate existing talent into a new technology department, will be responsible for defining the department’s mission and objectives, proposing the structure and main processes, and working with the HR function to recruit talent (if new profiles are required). He/She will have to spearhead the development and implementation of a robust, streamlined technology stack. This role is pivotal in ensuring our systems support current operations and facilitate seamless integration of future acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define, build and lead the technology department.
2. Be a key leader with the objective of making our systems “fit for growth” in the new phase of the company that has already started. In the context of this project, we see the following responsibilities:
3. Lead the project's PMO
4. Work with external partners in the definition of functional requirements, overseeing application development/integration, and selecting/managing vendors to ensure project success.
5. Some of the key areas that he will have to lead, either to be executed internally or with support from selected partners are:
1. System Development: Develop and control the overall information system, ensuring it meets business needs.
2. Data Management: Establish data intake processes, KPIs, reporting structures, and dashboards.
3. ERP Transformation: Oversee the transformation and broad deployment of ERP systems.
4. Commercial Process: Redeploy, integrate, or develop a system to support SAMY’s commercial operations.
5. Time Tracking System: Implement a global, coherent time tracking system.
6. Define and implement the operational IT support function.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience as an IT Director or in a similar leadership role within a complex, rapidly-evolving environment. Proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects with a focus on integration, automation, and systems optimization. Expertise in ERP and CRM systems, preferably including experience with HubSpot and NetSuite. Expertise in designing and overseeing the implementation of data informational systems. Strong strategic and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and IT vendors. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders across all organizational levels. Having held similar positions in a scale-up or professional services firm is a plus. Fluent in English is a must. Fluent Spanish is very desirable.
