PhD POSITION IN WOUND REGENERATION: The 1+DFarma research group, led by Prof. Luis Diaz-Gomez at the Institute of Materials (IMATUS), University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), Spain, invites applications for a full-time PhD position in Wound Regeneration. The doctoral project will span two years with the potential for additional Ph.D. fellowship support. The focus of the research includes the development, characterization, and biological assessment of advanced platforms dedicated to wound regeneration. This opportunity provides advanced training in biomaterial sciences, biofabrication, bioink development, and wound regeneration. * Hold an Official Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or Chemistry, enabling access to a doctoral program.
* Team-oriented mentality, critical thinking skills, and a profound interest in biofabrication, polymer science, and tissue engineering.
* Motivation to work within a multidisciplinary research team and ability to work independently in a creative and critical manner.
* Excellent communication skills for reporting results, both written and oral.
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
