In Selenta Group we are looking for join our team a Cluster Revenue Coordinator based in our office in Barcelona.
The role is responsible for supporting the revenue management team of a Madrid- Barcelona Marriott Hotel Cluster. In this role you help to drive the winning revenue strategies and processes by executing the tactical planning and day- to- day management of Marriott systems, including managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, including communicating with rate restrictions and strategy to properties. Assist with account diagnostics and monitoring transient and group inventory to ensure straight-line availability. Assist in the implementation of hotel sales strategies in the reservation and inventory systems. Escalate technical questions relating to the reservations and property management systems The role owns the reporting generation and maintenance as well as other supporting documents for presentation at hotels sales strategy meetings internally and with the owning company
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist with Reports & dashboard production on daily, weekly and monthly basis
* Gathers and processes different kind of data using the available systems and tools
* Performs market studies of different kinds
* Executes regular data quality checks and resolves accordingly with departments involved
* Support hotel teams with Marriott systems´ maintenance and daily tasks
* Execute daily pricing, availability and restriction update across the segments and systems as instructed by RM& DOS
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
* 2 – 3 years in a Reservations or Revenue Management related role with system configuration experience. Previous Marriott systems experience is a strong preference.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
* Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Tourism, Finance or a relevant field of work preferred.
* Certification in Revenue Management
* Fluent English and at least intermediary Spanish are a must both speaking reading and writing
* Advance Excel and Power Point user skills are a must
* Previous Opera PMS experience
