OKU Hotels is a boutique collection of soulfully-curated, laidback luxury hotels, created for the modern traveler. Meticulously designed sanctuaries are conceived with barefoot luxury, local connections and slow living at heart.
OKU Hotels is headquartered in London, with current properties operating in Ibiza and Kos, and a confirmed pipeline of hotels set to open in Turkey, Spain and the Maldives. OKU is targeting to own and/or operate a collection of over ten exquisite properties in new and captivating destinations worldwide, over the next five years.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
1. Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue in rooms, events, and food & beverage services.
2. Identify and cultivate relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners.
3. Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and competitive positioning.
4. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and sales materials.
5. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure bookings and long-term partnerships.
6. Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and business meetings to represent the hotel.
7. Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery for clients.
8. Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for senior management.
9. Ensure customer satisfaction and manage any service-related issues efficiently.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
1. Passionate about hospitality and an enthusiastic demeanor, with a desire to represent the OKU philosophy in your professional environment.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in a luxury or five-star hotel.
3. Strong network of industry contacts and corporate clients.
4. Experience in managing sales budgets and revenue forecasting.
5. Strong network of wellness industry professionals and suppliers.
6. Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
7. Previous Pre-Opening experience is a plus.
