OEM Business Development Manager Spain / Ingeniero de Ventas Senior - OEMFlowtec Solutions is a recruitment partner for businesses that lead their markets with exceptional quality in product and service.
In this role, you will have a clear platform, great support, and training while autonomously taking on the challenges to serve the business sectors of manufacturers and system builders. Your range of tasks is large, with the customer constantly in focus.
You will prospect and visit owners, engineering offices, contractors, and installers to promote the company's systems and products, resulting in diverse customer contact. You will follow new and existing projects in the market through regular customer visits and networking, ensuring necessary training for customers, partners, and end users.
The Role
As an OEM Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for profitably increasing the sales and market share that Flowtec holds in these disciplines. This will be accomplished by a thorough understanding of our OEM value stream and utilizing the Flowtec Sales Team Strategy and Goals & Objectives process.
What you will do
1. Develop and implement a yearly business plan consistent with the team strategy that achieves market, product, and profitability targets.
2. Establish project and account priorities through a thorough review of the major owners in each segment.
3. Coordinate with line sales and regional management to maximize business results in a collaborative team effort.
4. Target a designated number of accounts, with progress measured through the specification development program.
5. Design and implement a strategy to sell the complete line of Flowtec products.
6. Strategic planning for all OEM sales in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
7. Stay updated on market trends, competition, pricing, and new products.
About You
1. University/College degree, preferably as a mechanical engineer, or demonstrate equivalent.
2. Previous mechanical piping or related sales experience required (minimum 5 years).
3. Familiarity with the piping business or ability to quickly acquire necessary knowledge and skills.
4. Commercial feeling and ambition with a customer-oriented approach.
5. Result-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
6. Willing to travel as required (up to 75%).
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish; knowledge of any other language is an asset.

Requirements for candidates: Helping customers find the right technical solution and conducting training courses and seminars requires an engineering background. Previous experience in manufacturers and system builders is a plus. You must have an understanding of how the construction sector operates. As a self-starter, you know how to prioritize your time to succeed in this role. You are strong in developing relationships with manufacturers and system builders at all levels and must be prepared to travel throughout your region.
