Who we are
Filmin is a Video On Demand platform focused on independent cinema and series, novelties and classics. This approach allows Filmin to present an extensive catalog of 15,000 titles, the largest in Europe for a subscription platform and is currently operating in Spain and Portugal.
💡The Role
Filmin’s Partnerships and Distribution team aims to increase awareness of the Filmin brand and drive subscriber acquisition and revenue through high-impact partnerships and promotions. Our partners range from global electronics brands (e.g., Apple, Google, Samsung) to local operators and telcos (e.g., MásOrange, Vodafone), as well as partners in other sectors such as retail and FMCG, helping us reach new audiences and broaden our impact. Working closely with other internal team members and the Marketing and Product teams, you will help solve our partners’ business challenges with inspired partnership and marketing solutions that excite people about Filmin.
As a key point of contact for our Spanish and Portuguese partners, you will provide a critical link between Partnerships, Product, Editorial, and Marketing. We are looking for a talented marketing professional with business development acumen who enjoys building close relationships with partners and is comfortable owning the full lifecycle of marketing and partnership projects—from strategy through execution.
Responsabilities
* Support the Head of Partnerships with the ongoing management of commercial agreements with partners - such as contractual enforcement, renewal, maintenance, performance assessment or expansion.
* Lead some negotiations of direct-to-consumer partnership deals, including ownerships of the day-to-day commercial relationships to nurture and grow those partnerships.
* Work with internal stakeholders and outside partners to identify business growth opportunities and to plan and execute impactful campaigns across partners’ channels that promote Filmin’s availability, ensuring consistent brand messaging and positioning Filmin’s unique offerings.
* Own the marketing relationship with all partners as their first point of contact, fostering strong, collaborative relationships that drive mutual growth and success.
* Collaborate with the Marketing team to create data-driven marketing plans focused on acquisition (upsell, cross-sell, win-back) among existing partners' customers.
* Secure opportunities to feature Filmin’s titles, content, and brand across partner touchpoints (retail, experiential events, partner UI, etc.) and collaborate with partners to highlight curated content that resonates with specific audiences.
* Measure the impact of marketing activities, analyse performance data to drive improvements, and recommend and implement changes to enhance campaign effectiveness and meet both Filmin’s and partners’ objectives.
Skills
* Around 3–5 years of through-the-line (ATL/BTL) marketing experience, ideally within pay TV, telecommunications, digital distribution, video games, or music.
* Strong commercial acumen - understanding the concepts of value exchange and trading, with proven ability to translate strategic and commercial insight into successful business results.
* Proven success working with top telco, TV, electronics, brand, and/or agency marketers.
* Ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear business strategies that align with partners’ goals.
* Experience in developing upsell, cross-sell, and retention strategies based on data insights.
* Understanding of partner sales channels.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills, comfortable collaborating across various internal teams (Partnerships, Product, Editorial, Marketing).
* Ability to bring stakeholders together to execute complex, integrated marketing initiatives.
* Enthusiasm for Filmin’s curated approach to content and a commitment to growing our subscriber base in Spain & Portugal.
* A genuine passion for film, series, and the broader entertainment landscape.
* Fluent in Spanish and English. Fluency of Portuguese is a plus.
