You'll join a dynamic team en-route to IPO, where your insights will directly influence financial strategy and decision-making.The FP&A Analyst will be a crucial member of the finance team, independently driving key financial planning and analysis initiatives.Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting efforts, as well as developing complex financial models to support strategic decisionsThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strategic finance/consultancy background to join this fast paced and dynamic business, who are looking to attract a candidate that enjoys speed of change, relishes being on "a journey" with a business and can add value across the company.What you’ll do:Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and insightful commentary.Independently manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to align financial plans with business objectives.Develop, refine, and maintain complex financial models to support long-term business planning and decision-making.Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decisions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and understand operational impacts on financial performance.Prepare and present detailed financial presentations to senior management, providing clear insights and recommendations.Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the financial health of the business and identify areas for improvement.Create dashboards to track KPI developmentDrive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, proactively addressing any issues.Who you are:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.4+ years of experience in Transaction Services / Due Diligence / Deals in Big 44+ years of experience in FP&A in a scale-upAdvanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with complex financial modelling.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for presenting financial data.Experience with financial reporting and planning tools (e.g., Netsuite a plus).Our client is particularly interested in candidates that are orientated/interested in working in a scaling business and all the challenges and opportunities that this represents.
