The position reports directly to the Security & Quality Iberia Manager and functionally to the Group Quality Director. In a context of continuous growth and high performance expectations.
What responsibilities and objectives will you have?
· Develop and implement a Quality strategy aligned with Group’s Policy, focusing on Customer Satisfaction and cost control (Delivery On Time In Full).
· Regularly report on quality levels to Management and escalate any potential issues.
· Establish and monitor lagging and leading indicators (KPIs) to measure quality and process efficiency, track improvement plans’ progress, and ensure goals achievement.
· Identify quality improvement opportunities and coordinate action plans with all stakeholders, ensuring their effectiveness and sustainability.
· Coordinate a team of Quality Specialist mainly based in the regions, providing support to operational teams.
· Coach and assist operational teams in implementing quality standards and norms, as well as ensuring proper application.
· Develop and coordinate the internal audit plan to ensure compliance with standards and proper process execution and follow up on the resolution of identified discrepancies.
· Communicate regularly to provide visibility on results and improvement plans, while collaborating closely with all company departments.
· Support sites and other departments in managing supplier quality (carriers, subcontractors, etc.).
· Strengthen the integrated management system, prepare for and achieve certification to ISO standards (9001, 45001, etc.) especially by developing the document management system including all relevant standards, procedures and processes.
· Identify and mitigate operational risks linked to changes (new sites, products, operations, etc.). Build the business continuity plan and progressively enhance it.
· Promote Quality Culture by encouraging innovative ideas and problem-solving methods to foster continuous improvement across sites and supporting services.
· Actively participate in exchange routines with quality managers and key contacts from other markets and contribute by developing and sharing good practices and quality group standards.
· Continue implementing business standards and fundamentals across all sites by leveraging best practices in place.
Well, what will the requirements be?
With a university or engineering degree
At least 4 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial or logistics environment.
His(her) comprehensive understanding of the company, combined with his(her) knowledge of Quality standards and norms, expertise in Lean methods, and leadership abilities, enable him(her) to engage all stakeholders and lead Quality programs.
Recognized for his(her) excellent communication skills and ability to bring teams together, he(she) supports teams through their methodical, pedagogical, and rigorous approach.
Fluent professional English and Spanish required.
