As Iberia Lab Automation Market Manager, you will be accountable for providing strategic and operational Marketing support for the Iberia Lab Automation range.
What will be your missions at BioMérieux?
1. Collaborate with the Marketing director and the Iberia Clinical Marketing team to create, define, and implement the Marketing Plan of the products/brands under your responsibility.
2. Drive the generation of new opportunities and contribute to the achievement of the sales budget of the allocated Product/Brand range through strategic Marketing management (Marketing excellence process), as well as operational Product/Brand Marketing activities (Go to Market, forecast, back-order management, Go Out of Market).
3. Adapt Corporate strategies to the local market through impactful marketing activities: market research, market potential estimation (TAM, SAM, SOM), segmentation, positioning, targeting, business strategies, promotional activities.
4. Interpret, perform, and analyze market studies for product knowledge, customers, and competition (Market structure, Potential for growth, etc.).
5. Define pricing policy and follow up on profitability.
6. Implement the launch of new products/instruments/services, following the launch process. Take ownership of the product launch and, when ready, transfer the knowledge to the sales force.
7. Be the voice of the local customer to global marketing.
8. Develop promotional materials linked to product and channels to help the sales teams meet the agreed sales targets and analyze sales results.
9. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with KOLs, identifying and proposing new business opportunities.
10. Regularly conduct joint visits with the local sales teams in different countries to better understand the market and customers' unmet needs.
11. Manage external communication and contacts with opinion leaders and scientific associations. Manage and monitor the follow-up of surveys, workshops, symposiums.
Who are you?
1. Bachelor of health sciences or engineering. A Postgraduate in Marketing Management or other business programs is desirable.
2. Knowledge of the Spanish and Portuguese IVD market, desirably within Microbiology.
3. Previous experience in marketing in the healthcare industry is desired.
4. Sales or Market access experience will be a plus.
5. Able to discuss with KOLs as peers, able to organize local meetings, develop local study evaluation protocols with the Iberia Medical Department, and work in an international environment.
6. Strong business acumen, integrity, and ability to build interdisciplinary consensus. Enthusiastic & highly committed to succeed, with organization & planning skills.
7. Confident, adaptable, self-motivated, analytical, and able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, with excellent communication, software, and presentation skills.
8. Good CRM command and MS Office proficiency.
9. High level of English, fluent in Spanish; Portuguese will be a plus.
10. Around 50% traveling throughout Iberia, plus other destinations may be requested.
