EFI is hiring a relevant position in its Packaging Business organization as a Business Development Manager, EMEA. You will drive the overall adoption of EFI’s single pass digital inkjet printing within the Packaging and Display Graphics segment in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Your responsibilities will span pre-sales and post-sales activities designed to accelerate new placements of EFI Nozomi digital presses and the associated digital print volume.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create and develop innovative ways to communicate EFI's digital printing value proposition and promote products and services to potential and existing customers.
2. Support the Nozomi Sales team in day-to-day pre-sales activities:
1. Educate Nozomi prospects on digital post-print market, applications, and best practices.
2. Support sales pursuits through TCO, job-fit, and LCA analysis.
3. Act as Nozomi technical and applications expert.
3. Engage with Nozomi customers to drive analog to digital printing adoption:
1. Evaluate key variables to enable customer success and volume growth.
2. Identify blockers to customer success and provide innovative solutions to overcome.
4. Create and deploy sales enablement with customers’ sales teams to promote more effective selling of the EFI single pass digital value proposition.
5. Create and deploy marketing strategies in tandem with the marketing department for existing clients that result in raised awareness and increased pipeline for EFI digital print.
6. Track success of programs and critically evaluate best methodologies for improvement.
7. Educate and excite customers on the benefits and differentiators of our available professional services to drive sales growth.
8. Define and align EFI application support on behalf of sales pursuits and current customers to resolve technical challenges and special requests.
9. Routinely review and evaluate all activities and outcomes for continuous improvement.
10. Consistently exceed goals and expectations and contribute to our team-oriented culture.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing & Sales.
2. English required, Multi-lingual preferred.
3. Prior experience successfully leading business development capacity.
4. Digital printing experience preferred.
5. Understanding of basics of financial and breakeven modeling.
6. Solid background in corrugated/packaging industry.
7. Printing Industry – Ideally, this individual will have some previous experience in the Printing arena, which could include a wide variety of categories — packaging Printers, Consumables Companies.
8. Digital Printing & Color Management, Good technical knowledge.
9. Inkjet Packaging Portfolio – Previous experience with Inkjet Packaging would be a plus.
