ArcelorMittal Construction is looking for a Cluster CFO, based in Spain (Zaragoza) or Italy (Ancarano) and supporting the entities in Iberia, Italy, Caribbean & Dominicana, Reunion. In this role, the CFO reports to ArcelorMittal Construction Chief Financial Officer and will be frequently traveling (50%).
The CFO will be responsible for developing, leading, and implementing finance strategy to enable the companies to grow, thrive, and maintain a healthy financial position within the marketplace. Manages and coordinates the company's financial function across the regions covering the two main areas of finance:
* Compliance: accounting, credit management, VAT & tax, policies & procedures, internal and external audit
* Business partnering: multi-year plans, financing, budgeting, performance management, supporting post-acquisition integration
This is the top finance position of the region governed by policies and frameworks established by the ArcelorMittal Construction group.
This will be achieved by partnering with the Chief Financial Officer, local CEOs, and local finance teams.
The main responsibilities and missions:
* Managing financial performance and supporting cluster management and entity CEOs with the economic and financial analyses necessary for operational and strategic management.
* Business Partnering with the AMC CFO & entity CEOs on operational and strategic financial management.
* Determining the company's operating results on a monthly basis (accounts closing, management indicators, cost control, etc.) in all entities of regional responsibility (Iberia, Italy, Caribbean & Dominicana, Reunion).
* Supervising entity controlling/finance teams, managing, and developing their skills (training, performance management, career plans, etc.).
* Aligning forecasting results (drawing up the annual budget and objectives, updating monthly forecasts, monitoring variances, etc. with each entity in the region and Cluster CEOs and AMC CFO).
* Implementing and ensuring the correct application of accounting and financial procedures of the ArcelorMittal group within the entities.
* Steering the risk management process: internal control, external control across all relevant entities.
* Supervising the customer credit team in applying the customer credit and collection policy.
Candidate profile:
* Fluent in English, advanced in Spanish & Italian (mandatory), French and Portuguese are a plus.
* Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Auditing.
* 10+ years of experience in a multi-national finance role.
* Experience in M&A processes is a plus.
* Self-starter, innovative, results-oriented, strategic thinker.
* Advanced reporting and presentation skills.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels in the organization.
* Capability to work under pressure.
* High level of organization.
* Previous experience in similar positions in the manufacturing sector will be considered a plus.
* Capable of self-navigating in a multinational environment and entrepreneurial organization.
* Able to build bridges between different departments and external parties is crucial.
* Able to work with virtual teams without a direct reporting line is an absolute must.
* Hands-on.
