At the IT & CYBERSECURITY laboratories, we are accredited to carry out a wide range of security evaluations for payment, identification and IT security schemes. We are experts in assessing embedded systems to ensure that these devices can work together in a robust security environment. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead and expand our cybersecurity testing services within the automotive sector across Europe. This role will focus on driving growth and building strong relationships with key industry players, including Tier 1 suppliers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). A deep understanding of automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations, such as ISO 21434 and UN R155, is essential. What will your day to day work be like? Business Growth: Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to promote and sell cybersecurity testing services to Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs in the automotive industry Client Relationships: Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in the automotive sector, understanding their cybersecurity needs and providing tailored solutions Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, expand the companys presence within the European automotive market, and ensure alignment with industry trends and regulations Regulatory Expertise: Utilize in depth knowledge of ISO 21434 and UN R155 regulations to guide clients in implementing cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards Industry Knowledge: Leverage your expertise in the automotive sector, focusing on cybersecurity risks and challenges specific to Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs Multilingual Communication: Communicate effectively in English. Proficiency in German and French is highly preferred to cater to a diverse European client base Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and engineering teams to ensure service offerings meet client expectations and adhere to industry regulations Reporting & Analysis: Track and report business development progress, providing insights into market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth Requirements: Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, with a focus on cybersecurity services within the automotive sector Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Tier 1 suppliers, OEMs, and the overall automotive supply chain in Europe Regulatory Expertise: Deep knowledge of ISO 21434 and UN R155 regulations for automotive cybersecurity Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory); proficiency in German and/or French is highly desirable.
