About the Role
The Business Development Associate will spend the majority of their time proactively reaching out to business owners and management teams of software companies to build and manage acquisition targets for our M&A; Team.
* Manage and grow our M&A; prospect database by identifying small, medium, and large sized software companies that meet our acquisition criteria in Europe and Asia.
* Nurture acquisition prospects by proactively initiating and maintaining relationships with owners of software businesses (calls/emails/tradeshows).
* Conduct market research to evaluate potential acquisition prospects and obtain high-level financial and operational information about target companies.
* Initiate outbound prospecting calls and emails to connect with target companies.
* Develop and build relationships with CEOs, Presidents, and Owners.
* Follow-up on outbound and inbound prospect activities in a timely manner.
* Track activities and maintain relevant information in Salesforce CRM.
