Mission and Fleet Management Senior Engineer
Responsibilities:
1. Define the fleet renovation plan attending the commercial requirements.
2. Analyze the use of the satellite capacity (in the fleet and satellites of other operators) to optimize the resources.
3. Participate in the IRIS-2 project evaluating the constellation performances.
4. Analyze the possibility to contract non-GEO capacity in the LEO/MEO constellations.
5. Manage relations with other satellite operators looking for opportunities.
6. Follow up on the development of software tools for satellite operation.
7. Collaborate in new satellite definitions to meet client requirements.
8. Assist in all processes during a satellite program.
9. Conduct RFP and contract negotiation.
10. Assist in payload performance analysis during satellite manufacturing.
11. Perform satellite coverage performance analysis.
12. Analyze joint operation scenarios with other satellites in the orbital position.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering.
2. 5 years of experience in Satellite Communications.
3. Knowledge of geostationary and LEO communication system architectures and functional operations.
4. Experience with satellite ground station operations and network management.
5. Programming language skills (Python, Matlab or similar).
6. Knowledge of computer tools: MS Office.
7. High level of English.
