At K2 Partnering Solutions, we are looking for an experienced AWS Data Project Manager and Architect to lead and manage data projects for our client. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in AWS cloud services, data architecture, and project management who are looking for an opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage complex data projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
* Design and implement scalable data architectures using AWS services such as S3, Redshift, RDS, Lambda, Glue, and EMR.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and align solutions with business objectives.
* Guide and mentor data engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Ensure data security, compliance, and quality assurance in line with industry standards.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow charts, and project plans.
Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience in AWS data engineering, architecture, or project management.
* Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
* Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and AWS services like Glue, S3, Redshift, and EMR.
* Proven expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish (C1 or native) and English (B2 or higher).
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
* Familiarity with Machine Learning frameworks and cloud-based AI solutions.
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
* Industry experience in Energy, Oil, or Life Sciences.
* AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Data Analytics.
