Position Overview:
The Accountant & Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting with daily accounting tasks as well as general office administrative duties. This position is ideal for an individual who is highly organized, enjoys multitasking, and has a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management:
* Maintain accurate accounts and financial records.
* Manage supplier relationships, purchase controls, and budgets.
* Ensure timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Optimize accounting processes and use of Xero accounting software.
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
* Coordinate with CFO, Tax advisers, Bookkeepers etc.
Administrative Oversight:
* Oversee office management, ensuring efficient administrative support.
* Organize and streamline processes for procurement, contracts, and vendor management.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, maintaining a well-organized and productive work environment.
* Oversee record keeping & compliance.
* Assist CEO with daily requirements.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not essential with relevant experience).
* Proficiency in Xero accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
* Good organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Fluency in Spanish and English is a must
* Permit to work in Spain or EU passport holder
