Employee Development & Management
* Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the team and responsible for team leadership and tasks such as attendance/vacation schedule, claims, training coaching and development.
* Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinate work activities with other supervisors.
* Monitor and evaluate team members, and adjust training where needed.
* Attract, retain and develop high potential talent.
* Model and promote the Corporation’s Code of Business Ethics and Values.
* Perform general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staff, performance appraisals, promotions and terminations. Responsible for training and development of subordinate staff.
* Estimate personnel needs, assign work, meet completion dates, and interpret and ensure consistent application of organizational policies.
* Act as a team role model and change-agent.
* Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.
* Coordinate team efforts, create and manage a regional strategy and team operating plan.
Operations
* Oversee that materials are received, stored, shipped, and reported in accordance with established procedures.
* Furnish reports as needed to forecast estimates and schedules related to inventory, distribution, transportation, and/or production.
* Review effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization, and protection of equipment.
* Support, assist, and complete analyses; analyze information for accuracy and completeness.
* Ensure supervised department meets daily/annual goals. Assess and suggest new procedures and processes to increase efficiency.
* Work with other functions to identify opportunities to improve the process effectiveness and improvement plan.
* Perform various activities to backup and maintain the flow of work in the department. Ensure staff is focused on process improvement.
* Proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives.
* Ensure maintenance of equipment and a safe, clean environment.
* Actively participate in training to expand technical skills and improve services provided.
