What are we looking for?
We are looking for an ambitious and talented profile to join our Finance Team as a Finance Accounting on a temporary basis in our Global Headquarters (Madrid).
Mission:
As a member of the CSC department, your main responsibility will be to include the recording and summarizing of transactions and financial events in accordance with accounting principles and standards. You will participate in the preparation of individual and consolidated annual accounts for the group, review balance sheets and profit and loss accounts, and interact with other company members, as well as support in the accounting closures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recording and summarizing transactions and financial events in accordance with accounting principles and standards.
* Monitoring outstanding balances.
* Collaborating in the preparation of individual and consolidated annual accounts and various mandatory reports.
* Proactively communicating with stakeholders to resolve issues.
* Collaborating with the internal and external audit team during periodic reviews.
* Implementing and monitoring internal policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Identifying and recommending process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
* Reporting directly to the CSC manager and the administration and accounting director.
You Will Need:
* BSc / BA in Business Administration, FP in Administration and Finance, or similar.
* Minimum experience of 4-5 years in accounting, consolidation, and general accounting positions.
* Familiarity with the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement in financial processes.
* Knowledge of general accounting.
* Knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
* Knowledge of preparing individual and consolidated annual accounts.
* Familiarity with accounting systems and financial software, especially SAP.
* Understanding of tax regulations and standards related to financial transactions.
Skills:
* Analytical skills to review, reconcile accounts, provisions, and general accounting.
* Proficiency in efficient time management and task prioritization.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish. English and Italian are a plus.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multifunctional environment.
* Precision and attention to detail.
