We are seeking a skilled and motivated Supplier Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing supplier relationships and optimizing our supply chain processes.
Main Functions:
1. Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and performance metrics
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
3. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers
4. Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives
5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure supplier alignment with company goals
6. Conduct regular supplier audits and risk assessments
7. Manage supplier quality issues and drive corrective actions
8. Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
9. Implement and maintain supplier management systems and databases
10. Participate in new product development projects from a supplier perspective
Key Qualifications for Candidate Selection:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
2. 3-5 years of experience in supplier management or related roles
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
5. Proficiency in supplier management software and ERP systems
6. Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
7. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
8. Experience with global sourcing and international supplier management
9. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
10. Strong project management skills
11. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
